Today, my July 2019 Box Of Shadows subscription arrived! You may be wondering why I'm posting about July's box almost two weeks into August and that's because I'm in the UK. Our postal service loves to hold things up in customs!
I've been subscribed for a while and have collected every box so far, but I was particularly excited for this one. While I love all of the Charmed sisters, Phoebe is my second favourite and I feel like she doesn't always get the appreciation she deserves. So, I was naturally stoked when it was announced back in April that Phoebe would be July's theme.
It didn't disappoint and I actually think that this may be my favourite box yet.
So, first thing's first, the little leaflet. One of these comes with each box and it gives an overview of the items included as well as other fun info such as quizzes and trivia.
Then there's the acrylic Phoebe figure. This belongs to the wider Halliwell Manor Miniatures collectible set. You put them all together and it creates lovely little scenes.
Next up is the enamel pin featuring the VHS cover of Phoebe's favourite flick "Kill It Before It Dies". I'm a big fan of enamel pins in general and I love how perfectly this matches up with the previous ones we've received.
Adding to my ever-growing collection of Charmed mugs, there's this beauty! It looks exactly like the ones shown on screen and now I can pretend that I'm half as cool as Phoebe when I have my coffee.
There's also a fabulous, super high quality photo of Phoebe with the famous BOS.
I'm in love with this replica print of The Amazing Phoebe flyer from early season 1 by the incredible WarlokArt, the attention to detail is wonderful. The design reminds me of traditional carnival advertisements for psychics.
Complimenting the flyer is this darling Magic-8 ball that I am absolutely obsessed with! See, I love anything to do with divination (fun fact: I'm actually a professional tarot reader!) and this is so fun to play with. You just ask it a question, give it a shake and see what it says.
Last but not least is this luxurious, big microfibre beach towel that I actually couldn't fit into the frame fully. It's so soft to the touch; the quality of items from the BOS subscription never fails to impress me.
